Developing print and digital assets, advertisements, event signage, and email campaigns to enhance and extend the brand reach of a legacy media company.
The Challenge
To support the Creative Team at Crain Communications in producing design work for a portfolio of legacy media brands including Ad Age, Automotive News, and Modern Healthcare; to maintain visual consistency and brand integrity amid tight timelines and evolving creative needs; and to streamline workflows and elevate brand presentation across live events, print, and digital campaigns.
My solution
I conceive, design, and produce high-quality materials that strengthen Crain Communications’ visual presence across print, digital, and event touchpoints. From developing new creative assets to refining existing designs, I ensure every deliverable reflects the strength and credibility of Crain’s portfolio brands. In parallel, I’m introducing workflow improvements and leading the buildout of shared Figma libraries to enhance consistency and streamline creative production.
Crain Communications is a global business media conglomerate with a portfolio of 26 industry-leading brands, including Ad Age, Automotive News, Pensions & Investments, Crain's Chicago Business, and Modern Healthcare, among others. They host more than 450 events and 85 award programs every year and boast a monthly audience reach of 5.9 million.
I work with the Corporate Creative Team to support graphic design initiatives across this diverse brand network, developing and refining assets for print, digital, and event platforms while maintaining visual consistency, strengthening brand impact, and delivering high-quality work on tight timelines.
